The world of data is evolving rapidly. Organizations still rely on proven data modeling and business intelligence fundamentals — star schemas, facts and dimensions, data warehouses, and ETL pipelines. At the same time, AI tools like ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot are transforming how professionals design, implement, and optimize their data models.

This course bridges both worlds. You’ll build a strong foundation in traditional data modeling while learning how to use AI as your co-pilot in day-to-day work.

What you will learn:

Unlike theory-heavy courses, this one is practical and hands-on. You’ll work with free tools like MySQL Workbench and dbdiagram to create models, use Apache Hop for ETL flows, and connect your data to Power BI for analytics. You’ll also work with realistic, messy datasets, practicing data cleansing and transformation as in real projects.

The Capstone Project: FastBite Food Delivery

You’ll complete a portfolio-ready project where you:

  1. Start from raw source data

  2. Design a dimensional model with facts and dimensions

  3. Implement a data warehouse in MySQL

  4. Build ETL pipelines to populate your tables

  5. Connect to Power BI dashboards to answer real business questions

Throughout the project, you’ll see how AI can support your work — suggesting schema designs, classifying facts and dimensions, generating transformation logic, and even writing documentation.

By the end of this course, you will:

  • Apply AI tools (ChatGPT & Copilot) at every stage of the modeling workflow

  • Confidently design and implement data warehouses and data marts
